Rebuilt a multi-tenant analytics product that had outgrown its original stack.

Problem
The founding team had shipped fast to reach product-market fit, but the platform was straining under real customer load. Dashboards timed out on larger workspaces, background jobs stalled during peak hours, and every new feature required touching brittle code that no one on the current team had written. Churn conversations were starting to cite reliability.
What we built
We took ownership of the codebase alongside the in-house team, mapped the failure modes, and rebuilt the query and ingestion layers around a properly indexed warehouse and a job runner that could actually be observed. Frontend was migrated to a typed, component-driven system so new dashboards ship in days rather than sprints. We kept the product live throughout — no big-bang rewrite, no customer-visible downtime.
Result
Dashboards that used to time out now render in under a second on the largest tenants. The on-call rotation stopped getting paged for the same three issues. The team ships new customer-requested views weekly instead of quarterly, and the platform is comfortably handling the traffic that the next funding round assumes.
